HankNative born and raised for the majority of his life in Burlington, Vermont has been making waves with his new album “Problem Child“. Influenced by some of the best artists in the game including Isaiah Rashad, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole HankNative has massively increased his repertoire since he began taking music seriously in his sophomore year of high school. You can see the advancement of his lyricism and flow on some of the highlights of his new album: Backseat, ~3, and Blame. Like Kendrick Lamar, HankNative started off focusing mainly on his lyricism, but with time his delivery has really started to shine through in his music.
HankNative’s relationship with his producer, Somba, has enabled both of them to work off of each other’s styles. The two make songs that fit perfectly for the type of music HankNative is trying to make. Watch out for HankNative this year with a great group around him he is only going to improve from his standout first album.
