What we know about Kayne West’s “Jesus is King”
In her latest tweet, Kim Kardashian looks to have released some concrete news on Kayne West’s next album. The album appears to be called Jesus Is King and looks to finally have a set release date of September 27. The track list features many of Kayne songs performed during his Coachella Sunday Service earlier this year – most notably “Water”.
Last year, Kayne West released his eighth solo album ye which featured a return to the 2000s samples that made him so popular. Kayne then went on to collaborate with Kid Cudi on KIDS SEE GHOSTS and produce the albums for PUSHA-T, Nas, and Teyana Taylor.
After his run of successful albums last year, West announced a new album called Yandhi with a set release date of September 2018. This release date was subsequently delayed and eventually the project was postponed indefinitely. The album shortly after the delay was leaked online and then assumed to be scraped by many of Kayne’s fans.
At the beginning of 2019, Kayne West began conducting choirs in “Sunday Service” gospel performances. The events became widely attended by many College students looking to hear the latest Kayne had to offer. The events featured gospel renditions of West classics, as well as covers of traditional church hymns. West brought the “Sunday Service” to Coachella in April and since held it for Mother’s Day and other special events.
Right now this is all the information we have on Jesus Is King, but as soon as new information comes out we will have it up posted to our social media accounts.
